Wikipedia:
"Software as a service (SaaS) is a software licensing and delivery model in which software is licensed on a subscription basis and is centrally hosted.[SaaS is also known as "on-demand software" and Web-based/Web-hosted software.

SaaS is considered to be part of cloud computing, along with infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), desktop as a service (DaaS),managed software as a service (MSaaS), mobile backend as a service (MBaaS), datacenter as a service (DCaaS), integration platform as a service (iPaaS), and information technology management as a service (ITMaaS).

SaaS apps are typically accessed by users using a thin client, e.g. via a web browser. SaaS became a common delivery model for many business applications, including office software, messaging software, payroll processing software, DBMS software, management software, CAD software, development software, gamification, virtualization, accounting, collaboration, customer relationship management (CRM), management information systems (MIS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), invoicing, field service management, human resource management (HRM), talent acquisition, learning management systems, content management (CM), geographic information systems (GIS), and service desk management.

SaaS has been incorporated into the strategy of nearly all enterprise software companies. Gartner forecasted that software as a service (SaaS) remains the largest market segment on public cloud services and is forecast to reach $122.6 billion in 2021.

"Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computer system resources, especially data storage (cloud storage) and computing power, without direct active management by the user. Large clouds often have functions distributed over multiple locations, each location being a data center. Cloud computing relies on sharing of resources to achieve coherence[clarification needed] and economies of scale, typically using a "pay-as-you-go" model which can help in reducing capital expenses but may also lead to unexpected operating expenses for unaware users."

Joining FUW Patreon is easily one of the best things I’ve done for myself in my investing journey. So much value given by Eric – the super informative masterclasses, thrice-weekly live streams briefing us about the markets, numerous pep talks keeping all of us calm and steady in times of market corrections, tons of solid DD and technical analysis for a wide range of stocks, weekly chart days and sometimes even non-investing related stuff like cultivating financial habits or building a mindset that will take you far in life. Grateful to have discovered and joined the FUW family. Thanks Eric again for everything you do for us, I really appreciate it! ☺️ (Reposting here again because I had actually wanted to post this comment for this video ytd! Not sure why it ended up on an older video 😅)

    Great video E!

I love how you broke down the categories like you did! So often tech stocks just get thrown into the same basket but you’ve done an amazing job of identifying how different they can all be!
Time to watch the next video on patron!

    Thank again Eric!

Thanks for the overview Eric…excellent work as always. I’m not a member of your Patreon squad; I only subscribe to your YouTube channel, however, I’m always very impressed with your DD on the stocks you cover.

I’m glad to see I own many of the stocks you mentioned. I recently took a position in a recent deSpac cybersecurity stock called Arqit Quantum (ARQQ). The company’s approach to cybersecurity sounds very interesting based on the articles that I’ve read. I’d be great if you could add that stock to your watch list and possibly give us your thoughts in an upcoming video. I think your subscribers would really enjoy hearing your thoughts based on your vast experience in the tech space. Thanks again and have a great weekend

Thanks Eric, love the breakdown and rationale for your buckets, totally resonates with me. You are very generous to share this for free for people. Looking forward to the next video in discord.

Eric, thank you so, so much for your hard work and willingness to share. I’ve learned so much from watching your videos and always look forward for more. I just wish I would have found you sooner, but oh well, no better time than now. Great Job!

Thank you for sharing your Portfolio! I have learned a lot from your channel, it’s very insightful seeing your approach. Thanks for another great video. Love the transparency. Looking forward to watching that grow!

I want to thank you for your channel. You are the reason I made £2000 earlier this year trading Tesla. You are the reason I bought into PLTR (wish I’d got it when you released that Plantir IPO video last year though). Great content.

Videos like this are one of the many reasons I joined the FUW community via Patreon/Discord. Eric’s commitment to the game is unquestioned. It is further expressed in the many Discord channels offered. Is my investing better after joining Patreon and taking the Masterclass? You bet’cha. Free vids like this were just scratching the surface.

Well done. Thanks for sharing! I watched till the end and marketing tip, bring up at the start of vids maybe after the topic, that you’ve made millions investing, financial contributor to MF, MBA and with a background in the sector you’re about to talk about. Awesome again thanks for sharing the best of breed and other stocks! Next topic, can it be what you would do with 10 to 20k with the recent pullback ??? Or if I started investing today..
